Step-by-step guide

 

  1. Aged Care Assessment
    Obtain an aged care assessment through ‘My Aged Care’ to determine eligibility to live in aged care. Click here for more information. This step will also establish your client record. Find out more at myagedcare.gov.au or call 1800 200 422

  2. Means Assessment
    Obtain a Means Assessment as carried out by Services Australia. To find out more about this required step click here

  3. Understand the Costs
    Visit our Understanding Aged Care Costs page.

  4. Tour the Home
    Call (02) 9268 7500 Mon-Fri 8:30am-4:30pm to organise a tour, meet the team, and have any of your questions answered. You can also fill out a form here.

  5. Apply for Admission
    Once your assessment is complete, you are ready to apply. Call (02) 9268 7500 for assistance.

  6. Admission & Forms
    Upon admission you will need to complete an application form and also include the following details:
    • Medicare, Pension &  Centrelink information including Fee Advice Letter from Services Australia.
    • Private Health Insurance & Bank Details
    • Legal documents such as Power of Attorney & Enduring Guardianship.
    • Contact details for any appointed advisors (Lawyer, Financial Planner etc)
