The cost of residential aged care varies from person to person, influenced by both your financial situation and the facility and/or room type you select. The Australian Government funds your clinical care and, depending on the outcome of a means assessment, may also contribute towards accommodation and additional fees. This is also determined by your status being classified as supported, partially supported, or unsupported.
